Cirrus Vodka

Cirrus Vodka is an award-winning, hand-crafted spirit distilled in Richmond, Virginia. Campfire & Co. partnered with Cirrus to reimagine their brand from the inside out, developing a bold new graphic identity and packaging system that introduced both a fun-loving personality and a refined, premium sensibility. Beyond the bottle, we extended the refreshed brand across interior design and signage, creating a cohesive experience that carries Cirrus’ elevated yet approachable vibe into their tasting room and retail environments.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Setting the Stage

The new logo blends meaning and simplicity, referencing the namesake Cirrus clouds on a sunny day while also evoking a bird’s eye view of a cocktail in motion. Paired with bold typography and a clean layout, the mark strikes a balance between playfulness and sophistication while proudly anchoring the brand to its Richmond roots.

Packaging for the Clouds

The refreshed bottle design brings this identity to life through layered materials and intentional detail. A wavy background pattern adds movement and energy, while textured paper, metallic foil edging, and a vibrant blue cap create a tactile, elevated impression. With its fresh look and clear voice, Cirrus stands
out on the shelf and resonates across settings—from backyard parties to cocktail bars.

 
 
 

A Space to Match the Taste

Following the rebrand in 2019, Cirrus saw rapid growth across retail and on-premise channels. Expanded distribution, increased shelf visibility, and rising demand from restaurants and venues helped transform Cirrus from a small local player into one of Virginia’s top-selling spirits. The strength of the brand identity and packaging system proved essential in building awareness, attracting new customers, and unlocking new opportunities.


That success set the stage for Cirrus to invest in a long-held goal: creating a tasting room that truly embodied the brand. Previously operating out of a temporary space, the team had the clarity and momentum to design a permanent location that matched their vision. The tasting room at The Ballast in Richmond offers a bright, retail-forward bar and flexible event space, surrounded by cobblestone courtyards and shared amenities.

 
 
 

With a comprehensive brand system in place, Cirrus is now positioned for continued expansion. The identity has extended easily to new product lines, supported pop-up events and digital storytelling, and enabled quick pivots into direct-to-consumer sales. The tasting room serves as a physical expression of everything the brand stands for—an invitation to slow down, raise a glass, and dream a little.
