Keepsake Coffee

The Lineage Goods team is known for heirloom-quality bags, home fragrances, and accessories made to last. With two retail stores already open, Keepsake Coffee was something new: a third location that pairs their products with a coffee bar, giving customers a reason to linger, browse, and come back. The design challenge for Campfire & Co. was fitting retail, coffee, and community into a cozy 1,000 square feet.

The space is a former industrial arts facility with high ceilings, exposed brick, concrete floors, and large south-facing windows.

We kept that character and layered in warmth through olive green on the lower walls, white-painted brick above, and deep sage beadboard wrapping the shelving and banquette.

Instead of dividing the floor into separate zones, the plan lets shopping, coffee, and lounging overlap.

A caramel leather sofa and chairs sit at the center of the room with retail on every side, so someone waiting on a latte is already browsing, and someone shopping for a candle passes right by a place to sit.

The coffee bar runs along one wall with a long wood counter, leather stools, and a sky-blue backbar with a felt letter menu and brass details. That lighter blue sets the bar apart from the sage retail side without adding walls.

Across the room, built-in shelving holds the full Lineage Goods line, from waxed canvas totes and candles to apparel and pieces from other local makers. A corner unit near the entry holds grab-and-go snacks and draws people farther inside. Under the mezzanine stairs, a wood banquette with cafe tables offers quieter seating, and a reeded glass door marked β€œWorkshop” leads up to the mezzanine, where the team hosts candle-making classes and community events.

Keepsake feels collected rather than decorated. It’s the kind of neighborhood shop where you come in for coffee, stay to browse, and wind up meeting a new friend.
